2021 continues to be strange days, and it's been really hard for everyone. With springtime celebrations like Mother's Day and graduations coming up, I wanted to help make it easy to send a thoughtful, handmade gift to someone you love.

These earrings, as with most of my designs, were inspired by the architecture-like details of new growth that I've been observing while hiking over the past month. I obsessively collect photos and create sketches of natural motifs and patterns, and these recordings eventually jump from screen or page to silver.

The twisted paddle earrings are fabricated by hand from sterling silver wire. The hammer-formed paddle shape tapers from rounded ends to a directional change in the middle creating a twisting effect, marked with a subtle shimmering hammered texture. A trio of green sparkly faceted natural sapphire beads finish this long silver design with a pop of colour. Although luxuriously long, this lightweight design is a perfect go-with-your-jeans, everyday earring.

These earrings measure approximately 6 cm (2.4") long by .75 cm (.3") wide at the widest point. The silver throughout has been polished to a bright shine. The earrings hang from handmade, rounded standard 20g sterling silver earwires for comfortable wear and a pair of clear silicone stoppers is included to keep them securely on your ears (especially handy when wearing a mask!) Because I make each earring entirely by hand, one at a time from sterling wire, each one is completely unique.
These earrings would be lovely as matching gifts for family or close friends, and can be customized with a custom matte or darkened finish; just convo me for more info!
