Me and Mike. Now you know our faces.

Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I can't promise much more than a rambling discussion about life, creative process, health, food and kitties.
I tend to swear a lot.
I'm stoked youโ€™re here; after reading a bit, I hope you still will be as well!

Thinking about shows...

I'm trying to plan booth design on a budget. On a very minor budget. A non-existent budget. I'm praying for a visit from the 'booth enabling fairy'. I'm hoping for a miracle. I'm wishing for a booth-mitzvah! ;) getch yo hands up!

But until then, I'm hoping to continue my black and white display theme throughout a booth design that's 10 by 8 feet...doesn't sound like such a big deal, but when your product sizes average in the inch values, trying to fill that space feels crazy! I don't want my wee little 2' X 4' table to look like an island adrift in a sea of booth space! I've come with a design that will a: hopefully look good and b: stay on budget, using little more than my existing Art in the Park peg board backdrops and a few yards of inexpensive broadcloth and some pretty faux posies from yon dollar store. The hardest part is yet to come: not in actually building this set, but first in drawing a semi- coherent sketch of it for the most recent show application. Drafting was never my strong suit... perspective is my enemy (well, in drawing...existentially, perspective and I get along just fine.)

Long lost...

too...many...projects...
