I'm trying. I'm really trying. I promise. I am *terrible* at updating my blog. I think about it all day..."hey, I should update, you know, I should update, I have all these witty, enriching thoughts, I really should update...." and .... nothing! I'm too busy with trying to get ready for shows, send out apps, run Etsy, promote promote and, on top of it all, make jewelry...oh yeah, and work at my other job that sitting down to write anything about this process seems ridiculous 'cause it's taking time away from the process!!After crashing and burning yesterday, post-terrible show, and realizing how much of myself I am pouring, willingly of course, into this business, my ongoing discussion with Mike regarding dropping a day at my retail job seems all the more to the point. I gave it a trial run today, 'cause it was Family Day, and for once, I had it off (which was fab timing) and man, did I like having Monday off. I got lots done, with a relatively clear head, and still had physical energy left to take on ATS class, which was awesome. I'm all about having Monday off from now on, so tomorrow I have to make the move to emancipate Mondays...here's hoping I get my wish in a way that makes me and the retail job happy. As an aside, tomorrow is my 33rd birthday. Wow. Let there be cake! First birthday promise? Update. More. Often. Another aside, launched the Spring Break series on Etsy yesterday...dem's some yummy designs, if I do say so myself...
