Me and Mike. Now you know our faces.

Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I can't promise much more than a rambling discussion about life, creative process, health, food and kitties.
I tend to swear a lot.
I'm stoked youโ€™re here; after reading a bit, I hope you still will be as well!

Yays and Boos

Yay: I'm in a treasury! Hooray! My first ever! My Sweete Poole pendant was chosen for a "Spring Break" themed Treasury West! That was a pretty sweet thing to wake up to!Yay: I finally got to fire a full kiln load of new work that will hopefully get uploaded this week...and finally finished Mike's 'everyday' wedding ring (to be worn while his giant, original wedding ring is in the shop for a reworking.) Yay: finished all the little pins that are going out to the Utica Indie Garage sale...just have to finish off their resin stages and they'll be good to go. Yay: spent the afternoon with Amie and Ry and the most adorable, best smelling baby ever. No, really, P is the most delicious smelling thing on the planet. I could sniff him forever. It was so great to see them...an unexpected happy surprise. Yay: The ghawazee coat is finally being made, and it is going to be gorgeous. They will have to fight to get me to take it off once and a while, I will want to wear it all the time. It makes my waist look teensy and my hips look like a luxurious sofa...hot! Yay: finally nailed the move I couldn't do in ATS class last week...and nailed it twice in a row, to a resounding 'YEAH!' from teach and a friend. Which was great. I am currently rocking a pretty badass sweat from all that dancing...whew! Boo: The art show that I applied to (busted my ass to apply to, spent $10 on express post to apply to) has been cancelled due to low vendor applications. They are blaming the economy. I blame them for making it so damn expensive for artists to apply to. Part of me is super disappointed, and kind of reeling from the huge gaping hole that has now appeared in my schedule...part of me is relieved that I can stretch out in my production schedule a bit now, and that the $130 (!!) app fee can now go to something else equally necessary (like the next installment of ATS, and some more clay!) Boo: still haven't heard from Glebe show. Want to email a polite 'hello? is anybody out there?"...so maybe I will. So, they yays outweigh the boos. As well they should :)Wow! I'm in an Etsy Treasury! *grin*

Holy crowly!

Long lost...
